Favorite Coffee Shops

Here is a list of some of the best coffee shops in the Chapel Hill area:

  1. Caffe Driade : Amazing coffee, great outdoor patio to sip your coffee in the woods as you watch the Fall leaves turn and the chipmunks lurk.
  2. Open Eye Cafe : Great coffee, wonderful music collection, an ideal place to work as well as hang out with friends).
  3. Looking Glass Cafe : Nice coffee. They make an amazing “Jabberwocky”, which is a two shot red-eye with chocolate, and the flavorful “Duchess”, which is Earl Grey tea, steamed milk and lavender.
  4. Honeysuckle Tea House : A quaint tea house with their own farm in the middle of the woods. Ideal place when you want to escape from the commotion of daily life and sit down with your pot of tea (which you can choose from a variety of options).
  5. Bean Traders:  Nice coffee. They have some truly delightful experimental coffee drinks, including my favorite “Chocolate Habanero”.
  6. Epilogue Books Chocolate Brews: Right on Franklin! Books, coffee, sipping chocolate and churros..what else do you need?
